Blending music, improvised dance, and archival audio, this experimental portrait showcases the struggle and joy of being from the South Bronx.

Our dancer improvises in spaces that blend the personal and the structural. The first site, the damaging Cross-Bronx Expressway, was built to divide healthy Black & Brown communities for the ease of the wealthy. The second and third site are in the artist's home. He dances to/is intercepted by Jazz, archival audio from a 1980's news report on the borough, and quiet moments that emphasize the architecture of the borough.
